The Last House follows a family mysteriously sealed inside their home during a deadly rainstorm, forcing them to improvise food, water, and shelter as strange water-based creatures lurk outside. It blends survival tension with themes of isolation, resilience, and empathy, supported by strong early pacing and a unique ecological angle. Reviews note inventive world-building and atmosphere, though some criticize its later narrative shift and uneven performances, making it worth watching for fans of high-concept survival dramas.
